In response to the previous statement:

?I don’t like SCABS”…..

Well, neither do I ..!!!!

And when an ex-Value Jet / Air Tran / Southwest pilot bought the adjacent lot to me in a Private fly in community, I initially offered him my 4 page builders checklist from the County Building Department.

He said, “I got it”….

Then more negative comments and information from him about mechanics, and their pay. He continued to disparage flight attendants and of course, Unions.

That’s when he made his BIG MISTAKE,

indicating that Unions were a bunch of _ _ _

He also hung out with the ex Eastern Airways SCAB PILOTS. He was a Southwest Pilot who hated unions.

Immediately I separated myself from him….

Can’t pick your neighbors.

Please to each and everyone of you, remember those magic words; “This too will pass”. He finally moved away and I was dancing up and down the street.

To the other remarks about honorable returning to the airline maintenance program at Delta.

Thank you for your words and appreciation for those, such as myself, who were invited back to work for Delta, our hometown Airline.

An easy decision leaving Lockheed and their manufacturing company which is another complete story & experience.

I’ve had 3 manufacturing positions;

Pratt Whitney Jet Engines, Boeing Aircraft Company & Lockheed. All manufacturing companies offer limited, little freedom.

Retirement going on 11 years with a little concern of the latest discussions about American Airlines buying out Delta.

It’s law that our pension will be honored, possibly a lump sum payout. If it came to that because, let’s face it, who today follows the LAW…?

Not our politicians ……

I’ll take advantage of the payout if it happens with an investment in an annuity or just deposit in my financial institution.

Rock On Honorable, Veterans (as myself)

First Responders and aircraft mechanics worldwide.

Agreed, the input is down, thinking digging thru the archives for some of the best and rerun them. Yogi, the drew bassethound, and those characters would be entertaining fillers.

this site should bow out like men and shutdown with diginity. i didnt scab. its time to give up and enjoy the rest of our lives. let it go you have proven your point

exNWA.com note: The list of SCABS will always be available

"Solidarity" is an attempt to force a diverse group of people with vastly different economic realities to act as one. When that fails, the "filth" of the scab is simply the emotional fallout of that forced uniformity hitting the reality of human self-interest.

Someone in a previous post commented that "scabs have to live with their decision" That is true, but a scab lives very well with their decision, that is what makes them a filthy scab.
To all of those Honorable mechanics who went back after the strike and helped insure a successful maintenance program at Delta and enough profits to insure our pension stability, I thank you. Special thank you to John Starry.
Happy 4th to our group, the honorable from 2005. The scabs need to live with their decision.
One scab, ultra scab and a cheat to boot is John Giancana, from Eagan Minnesota.
A turncoat that crossed in less than 30 days. This is his character, and lousy mechanic at that. Still employed at Delta, sucking up all the OT he can get at 65 years old!!!

The Canadian Aircraft Techs, are seeking a Representation Election to get rid of the IAM

AMFA is there, but the govt won’t allow an election.
 Not New to me

exNWA.com note:  At least people can come to this site and see the SCABS names listed.

I printed the list years ago. Too bad this was a great site. We are all getting older. The majority of us that got the boot in 2005 have been collecting our pension for a long time. I have been collecting since 2011 when, I turned 62. This site had a hell of a great run. Thank you, good luck and be well to all.

exNWA.com note:
Thank you, Mark, from MN for your donation.

exNWA.com note:  The site is not dead.

"444 Honorable here and proud of it, also big supporter of you guys. But I don't see many comments here on the new  site, just pondering why" ... I can think of two reasons: The membership is aging out, and the site is too political.
Andy Campbell. On strike day, he Went in early to make coffee
444 Honorable here and proud of it, also big supporter of you guys. But I don't see many comments here on the new  site, just pondering why

exNWA.com note:  Not sure. Did get some comments submitted from some idiots. At the very least, people can come to this site and look for SCABS, and print them, ect.

So is Preputnik a scab, or just his son?
I do not like scabs….
